- Physics Festival & Contest 2014 Invited Young Physicians
- The Department of Physics invited more than 100 physics and natural science major college students in the occasion of the Physics Festival & Contest 2014 from July 12 for 2 days. The Student Council of the Physics Department, a main organizer, was sponsored by Samsung Institute of Technology to provide the program to the young physicians. The participants were able to attend a series of special and guest lectures delivered by physics faculty members, discussion sessions, and laboratory tour to figure out how the department looks life and what it is all about.

- The Chemistry Camp for High School Student was designed to provide advanced programs to neighboring secondary education institutions in 2011. In the year of 2014, which marks the fourth year since its initiation, a group of Yoo Shin high school students is invited to join the program and scheduled to participate in classroom learning, laboratory experiment and research delivered by Chemistry Department faculty and research fellows from July 21 to 25, 2014.

- Professor Park Il-hung's Top-Notch Technology in Space Station
- http://news.kbs.co.kr/news/NewsView.do?SEARCH_NEWS_CODE=2895461&ref=A The Research Team led by Professor Park Il-hung at the Department of Physics has sucessfully developed a space observation equipment. This high-tech equipment will be lauched to space and used at international space stations. It will be the first time when the domestically-developed technology will be applied to the large-scale experiments conducted in space.
