The College of Science offers four academic degree programs at undergraduate level and five at graduate level. Generally, each department has one program for bachelor, master, and Ph.D. programs.
There is one additional program for the interdisciplinary study of Physics and Chemistry which is only offered as a combined master and Ph.D. program for undergraduate students.
Degree Program Overview
|Program||Department/ Program||Degree||Conferrable Degree||Typical Duration|
||Bachelor||Bachelor of Science(BSc)||4 Years|
||Master||Master of Science (MSc)||2 Years|
|Ph.D.||Ph.D. in Science||2-3 Years|
|Combined Master/Ph.D.||Ph.D. in Science||4 Years|
ICPC only offers a combined Master/Ph.D. program. No singular degrees for these levels are offered.

Departmental Student Support Office for Degree Programs
The College of Science has six administration offices as follows; the College of Science Office provides general and collegiate support to international students and scholars, while the department offices help their students and faculty members with more department-specific issues.
Some research units have their own 'support' office, but it is recommended that students contact the College of Science or department offices as the first.

The CS adopts the university’s credit requirement for completion and graduation. However, please note the table below for the maximum independent research course credits which specifically applies to the CS graduate programs.
|Degree||Regular Credit Requirement for Completion||Pre-requisite|
|Independent Research Course (Max.)|
A PhD degree candidate will be required to select one of the following specializations at the time when he/she advances to their dissertation examination/defense at the last stage of his or her academic trajectory. An academic and dissertation advisor will consult with the student and advise on which specialization is academically adequate for the degree candidate.
Semester Fulfillment Plan: Graduate Program
The table below shows the sample plans for fulling semester requirements for graduate programs. In contrast with the undergraduate programs for bachelor's degree, graduate programs may require students to plan in advance the time frame you wish to adhere to in regards to degree completion. Please ensure to ask the graduate program officer for the advice which is applicable to your own situation.
|Combinded Master/Ph.D.||*Early Graduation|
|Regular semester registration|
|Extra semester registration|
|* This is only for those who did not fulfill the credit requirements within the required regular semesters|
|Research semester registration|
