Recently, people expressing themselves in media such as SNS (Social Network Service) and Youtube are rapidly increasing. Through SNS, users can post opinions and information and communicate with other users. Soccer manager Ferguson said, "SNS is a waste of life." SNS is fatigued and depressed by many people to the word 'SNS fatigue syndrome'. There are still many opinions on the effects and side effects of SNS. However, if the number of creators with the same thoughts and consciousness as Jung Seon-ho is increased, the side effects of SNS will decrease. Now, I met this creator Jeong Seon-ho, the creator of the college.
"Hello, I am Jung Seon-ho the person who enjoys the present. After finishing Master’s degree in Sungkyunkwan University, I am currently studying for Ph.D here conducting experiment and research until late evening, just like other students. I am doing things such as composing and shooting video to suit my goal of enjoying the moment. Sometimes when I do various things, I feel physically exhausted. Last year I only slept four hours a day. However when I do my favorite things, I feel that I am healed mentally. I am happy to do what I want to do. "
☞ Mr. Jung, the “Creator”
"There is no special motivate to shoot a video. By winter 2015 my mother and I went to the Kakao Friends Pop-up Store in Yonsei-ro. Some dolls were cute enough to look alone, so I took the first video, edited it and uploaded it. Doll video alone was flat, so I inserted music without thinking. When I woke up, The video was pressed for about 230,000 times of ‘Like’. There were about 6,000 'followers'. I’ve received lots of messages saying that the dolls were too cute or the music seemed to go well. At that time, I was delighted with what I was able to achieve. It seems to be similar to the reward that comedian men feel after gag. From then on, I found the videos and started reworking them. As a result, the followers are close to 100,000. One day I changed my profile picture to new one. Then the people reacted badly. I felt a slight loss in the reaction. I was happy to like the video I made, but the original author, I was lost. After that, I started the video I was casting. As the work originally started to have fun gets bigger, I paid less attention to my parents. I tried to find ways to spent time with my mother and wondered how to build up memories.
I came up with an idea of shooting with a hidden camera with my mother. Based on that idea, I began to shoot with my mother. I liked the fact that I could spend time with my mother while working on the video. The reaction was also explosive.
My mom did not dislike to shoot video, but she liked it so much that her video was uploaded somewhere. My mother is both open and conservative, but she is open to this kind of things. At first, the video I shot on my mother was too funny to watch alone, so I edited. I showed it to my mother and she told me to go on the internet first. So I put it up.
Sneaky ideas of cameras and images literally get from the moments of everyday life. Every time I get inspired, I make a note on a cell phone notepad and take a shot. I only upload 1/3 of the footage. I do not upload if my mother notices in the middle or the shot is not satisfying. Not all images are successful. I expected it to be really fun, but I did not upload it unless the video go through the story I wanted.
There are a growing number of 1person creators and the market is expanding recently. I am proud to hear that many people want to do what I do. I feel it is a transition period now. There are many people who post videos that are offensive to others so I'm worried about that. I think if people do not watch such a video, people will not shoot it. I think the situation will get better if there is awareness of watching".
☞ Mr. Jung, the “Musician”
"I want to say that I want to enjoy the present. I liked music before I shot the video. I also did DJing and mixing. After that, I started composing. As a creator, my values have changed a lot. So I wrote the first song in hopes that it was a song that conveyed a meaningful message prior to the full-scale music activity. I want to make a happy community. In order to do that, it is important for individuals to have positive thoughts, but we have to strive for a little happier community. It is important to be positive, but it is the way to a happy community to look at others more and to be interested. I did my first song as a donation to show that I could do that in the form of music. I wanted to show you that you can make something and donate value-added things even if you do not have many things. It's a song with a message that you can help someone in your music. The next album is a little more popular and I want to start full-scale musical activities with my own colored songs. "
☞ Future goal & what he wants to say
"There is no future goal. I'll just enjoy the present. I will do my best when the opportunity comes.
I do not want to be overwhelmed by the evaluation of others. There are too many moments to be evaluated. I hope you do not lose confidence in the evaluation of others. I would like to do my best to enjoy what is given to the present situation. I want to be a person who does what I like and goes ahead with something. "
